On February 7, 2019 at the Aktobe law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev the Department of General subjects within the school of pedagogical skills held a master class on «Improving the methodology of practical training», where took part young teachers and experienced teachers. The goal is to unite teachers with teaching experience, assistance in constant self-development and self-improvement, generalization of best pedagogical experience and formation of individual style of pedagogical excellence.
The main objectives of the master class were:
– teachers’ training and professional development of the higher-education teaching personnel and other employees engaged in teaching activities;
– development of information and methodological culture of the teaching staff;
– consulting the staff on new pedagogical technologies, innovations in the system of higher professional education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ministry of Education and Science of te Republic of Kazakhstan.
Faculty instructors of the Department of General education discipline shared their experience and made a presentation of innovative methods of conducting both seminars and workshops: the method of «Brainstorming», the method of «Cluster», the method of «Six hats», training, creative tasks, discussion, debate, work in small groups, the method of Cinquain, business and role-playing games, etc. They discussed issues such as: the relationship of the teacher with the cadet or how to activate the interest of the cadet with a low level of knowledge. With each of the above methods were discussed separately and understood. Associate Professor of General studies, police Colonel Zh.M.Ismambetova shared his method of self-evaluation of the cadet using the cards. Living examples of the practice working with students and retrainees were indicated.
Teachers of this Department showed a high level of their professionalism. The topics discussed were relevant and interesting. In the final part, each teacher shared his opinion. Expressing gratitude to the organizers, the young teachers noted that the presented master class was very useful and important for them.
