Advanced training – the path to professionalism

The teacher of the Department of Criminal Process and Criminalistics, Major Nazarbayeva S.G. passed training in the courses of qualification improvement in the methodology of ballistic research in the Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. B. Beisenova in the period from February 20 to March 11, 2017, where the following issues were considered:

  • Organizational and legal foundations of the operational criminalistic units of the BIA,
  • The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Counteracting Corruption”
  • Methodology of ballistic research,
  • On state control over the circulation of certain types of weapons,
  • Methodical foundations of forensic-ballistic research,
  • Issues resolved by forensic ballistics expertise,
  • Classification of firearms,
  • The mechanism and principles of the operation of firearms,
  • Homemade firearms and its forensic research,
  • Forensic research of ammunition,
  • Classification of cartridges,
  • The device of pneumatic, gas and traumatic weapons, air gun,
  • Inspection of the scene of the incident with the site (firearms, traces of a shot, etc.)
  • Device bullets,
  • The stage of forensic identification,
  • Method of identification of firearms with traces on shooting cartridges,
  • Diagnostic examination of firearms,
  • The main aspects reflecting the technical condition of firearms,
  • The mechanism of the formation of traces in the order,
  • Features of the identification of smooth-bore weapons in the footsteps of fractions.

In addition, practical training was conducted at the training range of the Department of Internal Affairs, in the DUIS of the Karaganda region, in which the best employees and specialists from the operational and criminal units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part.

Police Major Nazarbayeva S.G. within the framework of conducting a lesson on combat and service training, spoke before the staff of the Institute. For the time of the session, the objects of forensic research were demonstrated, the tasks and the subject of forensic ballistic examination, the concept of firearms, the design and purpose of the main parts were considered; In this work participated the entire faculty of the Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics Department of the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev.
