On April 26, 2018 in the Aktobe Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S.Baishev there was a festive evening “Kazakhstan – a birlyk pen tatulyty mekeni” dedicated to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by employees of the general library and the branch of the state language and information of Aktobe law institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev.
The purpose of this event is the formation of patriotism and a sense of pride for one’s people, fostering respect for one’s neighbor, honoring traditions and customs of other nations.
The event was also attended by guests from the Aktobe Regional Society of Germans “Revival”, “Association of Koreans of Kazakhstan” and the Ethnic and Cultural Public Association of Belarusians “Alesya”. They congratulated all present and readers of the library on the holiday – on the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Kazakhstan and were introduced to their work in society and in associations. And also told the audience about the cultures, about the traditions and customs of their peoples, showed their national musical instruments, clothes and household items.
