International seminar, conducted for cadets (students) participating in the scientific and practical law school within the framework of the international scientific and theoretical conference “Actual problems of modern science”

April 5, 2018 in the framework of the international scientific and theoretical conference “Actual problems of modern science” the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology held an international seminar for cadets (students) participating in the scientific and practical school of a lawyer.

Participation in the seminar was attended by students from the Orenburg State University and cadets of the Omsk Academy of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation, as well as cadets of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M.Beysenov, law institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev.

Seminar on the topic: “Further improvement of legislation to counteract crimes against the sexual inviolability of minors” was conducted according to the methodology of the seminar, which was opened by the head of the Criminal Law and Criminology Department of the Aktobe  Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev, the police colonel Seitenov A.Zh. After the greeting of the seminar participants, Aslan Jolashevich gave the floor to the deputy head of the criminal law and criminology department, the police colonel Ayapbergenov I.N. The seminar consisted of 2 parts, each for 50 minutes.

In the first part of the seminar, the police colonel Ayapbergenov I.N. delivered a report on the topic “General Characteristics of Crimes Against Sexual Integrity and Sexual Freedom of the Personality of Minors”, followed by student 103 of the training group A.Zhaksimbetov who in his report described the prevention of crimes against sexual inviolability and sexual freedom of the individual among minors under the law Russian Federation. And in the end the cadet 103 of the training group Kaldaman M. delivered a report on the topic “Responsibility for committing crimes against the sexual inviolability of minors”.

In the second part, consideration was given to situational tasks, topical issues related to the improvement of legislation to counteract crimes against the sexual inviolability of minors, the connection of these crimes with corruption criminal offenses.

At the conclusion of the lesson, cadets and students received questions related to the improvement of legislation to counteract crimes against the sexual inviolability of minors, both in the Russian Federation and in the Republic of Kazakhstan. To the above questions, they were given exhaustive answers, which sparked heated discussion.

The teaching staff of the Chair of Criminal Law and Criminology believes that this experience of holding a seminar in the form of classes is positive and necessary for further improvement and wide application in the educational process.
