February 8, 2019 at the Palace of students of ARSU named after K. Zhubanov among students and cadets of universities of Aktobe held a competition of military-Patriotic song «Afghanistan hurts in my soul», dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the withdrawal of a limited contingent of Soviet troops from the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. Veterans of the Afghan war were invited to this event.
In competition took part the cadets of ARSU named after K. Zhubanov, AU named after S. Baishev, Kazakh-Russian international University, and West Kazakhstan medical University named after M. Ospanov, Military Institute of ITS. twice Hero of the Soviet Union named after T. Ya. Begeldinov and Aktobe law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after M. Bukenbaev.
The competition consisted of two rounds: the first round – a competition of military songs, the second round – a competition of Patriotic songs.
In the first round the students 1 «A» course at our Institute Nazym Aidoskyzy and Alexandra Kovaleva sang the song «Cuckoo», in the second round the song «Atameken».
According to the results of the jury, the first place was awarded to the participants of the military Institute twice Hero of the Soviet Union named after T. Y. Begeldinov, second place — participant of AU named after S.Baishev, the third place was given to the participants of Aktobe law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after M. Bukenbaev.
