Meeting of the Academic Council: 28.02.2017

The Scientific Council is a collegial body of the Institute’s management, which in its activity is guided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the charter of the Institute, the Statute of the Academic Council adopted by the Academic Council (Minutes No. 16 of April 29, 2016), and the Institute’s Regulations.

The work of the Academic Council is carried out under the chairmanship of the head of the Institute, candidate juridical institute., Colonel of Police Karakushev S.I. According to requirements. Regulations on the Academic Council The Scientific Council includes the deputy chiefs of the institute, heads of structural subdivisions, faculty having academic (academic) degree, as well as cadets of the faculty of full-time study.

The activity of the Academic Council is carried out in accordance with the plan of its work for the academic year.

The main task of the Academic Council is coordination, normative provision and management of the institute’s activities, in accordance with the competence defined by the Statute of the Academic Council.

The decisions of the Academic Council are taken by a simple majority of votes with open voting and are considered binding for execution and compliance.

Meetings of the Academic Council are held once a month. In order to unload the agenda, as well as to decide on issues that require urgent consideration within the competence of the Academic Council, an extraordinary meeting is allowed.

The number of meetings of the Academic Council is:

2013-2014 academic year – 11 meetings to consider 61 issues;

2014-2015 academic year – 13 meetings to consider 81 issues;

2015-2016 academic year – 22 meetings to consider 143 issues.

Particular attention is paid to the issues of implementation of the decisions of the Academic Council.
