April 23, 2019 according to the research plan of Aktobe law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev for 2019 (pos. № 242) the Department of criminal procedure and criminalistics held a roundtable on the topic: «Criminalistics – one of the bases in the criminal process».
At this event were invited forensic medical expert of the highest category Aktobe interregional center of forensic medical examination Kornev Vladimir Mikhailovich head of the laboratory of chemical and biological researches Aktobe interregional center of forensic expertise of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bissenovа Barshagul Baurzhankyzy as well as chief criminalist of the operational and forensic Department of the police Department of Aktobe region, police captain Makishev Rustembek Asylbekovich.
The meeting of the roundtable was opened by Deputy head of Aktobe law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev, police Colonel Suleymanova Galiya Zhanabekovna, who made a welcoming speech, and expressed hopes and wishes for further cooperation in this format, invited participants and guests of this event as often as possible to practice such meetings in order to bring the educational process of practical orientation, by discussing the most important and pressing issues of daily official activities. The participants unanimously supported this initiative.
The moderator of the roundtable was head of the Department of criminal process and criminalistics of the Institute, Colonel of police Sakhanova Nelly Talapovna .Also, the roundtable was attended by the teaching staff of the Department of criminal procedure and criminology, students of career development courses, soldiers of the National guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as students of 102 training group of 1B course of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan.
During the roundtable, presentations were made by the guests and the reports of the teachers of the Department on the problems in the appointment and conduct forensic examinations, to the peculiarities of examination of a corpse at the place of its finding, the ability to conduct motion analysis in the investigation of criminal offences, the application of forensic technology in the pre-trial investigation and other relevant issues. Practical recommendations of experts and the chief criminalist, examples from everyday practice, as well as the most problematic issues highlighted by the guests of the roundtable aroused great interest, a number of additional issues and lively discussions both among the faculty of the Department and the cadets, students of the Institute.
At the end of the roundtable, the head of the Department of criminal procedure and criminology, police Lieutenant Colonel Sakhanova Nelly Talapovna expressed her gratitude to the guests and participants of the event, as well as the leadership of the Aktobe interregional center of forensic examinations, Aktobe interregional center of expertise of the Ministry of justice of Kazakhstan, operational and forensic Department of the police Department of Aktobe region for close and fruitful cooperation.
