The professional union of workers of the Aktobe law institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev is a voluntary, self-governing, public association. It carries out its activity in the field of education and in the sphere of other branches in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On public service”, the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the current legislation and the collective agreement. The activity of the trade union is based on the principles of voluntariness, equality, lawfulness and activity of its members.
The activity of the trade union is built on an open basis and is created without restriction of the term of its activity. The main task of the trade union is to participate in determining the working conditions of employees, this is: the rationing of labor; determination of the terms of payment for labor; ensuring safety and labor protection; the definition of conditions and the conclusion of a collective agreement with a view to protecting the labor, social and economic rights of workers; participation in the adoption of acts of the employer on the definition of working conditions for workers in general; participation in the resolution of labor disputes; consideration of appeals of trade union members related to production activities; providing legal, material and other financial assistance to members of the trade union. Taking into account the peculiarities of the sphere of activity and the legal status of the members of the trade union, the task of the trade union is the formation and professional formation of the individual subject of educational activity on the basis of national and universal values, the achievements of science and practice, the education of citizenship and patriotism.
On issues of social protection of employees between the leadership represented by the head of the Institute and civilian employees, the legal and organizational collective agreement is taken as a basis.
