December 6, 2017 in the Aktobe Juridical Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev held a round table “Activities aimed at countering corruption in the public service.”
This event was held within the framework of coverage of the message of the President to the people of Kazakhstan dated January 31, 2012 “Third modernization of Kazakhstan: global competitiveness”, where one of the directions indicates the implementation of measures aimed at combating corruption.
The deputy head of the Aktobe Juridical Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev for academic work, the police colonel Dauletiyarov D.A, the deputy head of the Aktobe Juridical Institute of the MIA of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbayev on scientific work, the candidate of legal sciences , lieutenant colonel of police Suleymanova G.Zh., chairman of public fund “Association of business women of Aktobe region” Dauletalina Z and the faculty of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics – head of the department, police colonel Igolnikov A.G, deputy head of the department, police colonel Esmaganbetov B.S, senior lecturers of the department: lieutenant colonel of police Burkitbayev K.A, lieutenant colonel of police Nazarbayev S.G, lieutenant colonel police A.N. Chuprynyuk, police major A.A. Taishybaeva, lecturer of the department S.Minaidarov, doctoral student of the Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after B.Basenov, police captain Balimov E.K., and also teachers of the criminal law and Criminology.
The reports were made by the Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics, Colonel of Police Igolnikov AG. – “History of corruption in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, senior lecturer of the department, lieutenant colonel of police Burkitbayev K.A. – “Perfection of corruption law in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, teacher of the department, police captain Balymov E.K. – “Struggle against corruption – the guarantor of development of the state”, the head of the criminal law and criminology department, the police colonel Seitenov A.Zh.
The work of the round table was conducted in the form of speeches, answers to questions and discussions on reports, statistical data on the state of crime in the Aktobe region were given, as well as issues on improving criminal legislation on combating corruption, on conducting preventive measures with citizens of Kazakhstan on combating corruption, was demonstrated a video film with an overview of corruption offenses in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Based on the results of the round table, proposals and recommendations were developed to strengthen the relations of officials holding public posts with the public. The diversity of views on the definition of corruption indicates the complexity of this phenomenon and requires a thorough and comprehensive study of it.
