LEARNING TO PROVIDE MEDICAL HELP

A practical lesson on the discipline “Provision of Primary Health Care”, conducted by the Head of the Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics Department, the Police Colonel Igor Igolnikov A.G, is organized using the technology of problem training. Through a problem situation, the teacher reports the topic of the training session “Methods of resuscitation.”

At the organization of this training session, Colonel of Police Igolnikov A.G. demonstrated high professional skills, pedagogical creativity and medical skills. Taking into account the general requirements for employment and opportunities for students, didactic material (posters) was developed, dummies, a medical kit, dressing materials were used. All visual aids activate the mental activity of students, develop cognitive activity, creativity, independence of students that can be observed at each stage practical training.

So, when checking the homework, various types and forms of verification were used, special attention should be paid to such approaches as: mutual examination, self-examination, and also a differentiated approach, taking into account the level of training of students (part of the students perform the task together with the teacher, part of the writing).

During the entire training session, a personality-oriented approach is implemented, taking into account the characteristics of the students, providing the right to choose tasks and performance characteristics, correcting incorrect actions of students in performing indirect heart massage, thereby creating situations of success, cooperation, supporting positive emotions throughout the training session . Trained as the tasks are completed, they move from one activity to another, after completion of each task, the trainees together with the teacher summarize the result of their activities. During the lesson the teacher receives information about the degree of mastering by the students of the studied topic “Methods of resuscitation”, due to the proposed various tasks. Carrying out various tasks, students learn different ways of both research and creative activity.

Colonel of the police Igolnikov A.G clearly calculated the time required for each task. At the end of the training session, reflection was conducted, the students themselves evaluated their activities and the result obtained in the study of this topic.

 The high rate of the training was achieved due to the qualified professional-methodical training of the teacher, the competent distribution of the teaching material, the friendly style of conducting the training session, the use of a variety of methods and means of instruction (part of the tasks were suggested to be carried out practically in conditions as close as possible to the real ones).

This training session has reached its goals and deserves a positive evaluation.
