Aktobe law institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev

On carrying out the round table on the theme «Investigation of crimes about crashes and accidents on railroad transport and on business of aviation accidents»

According to plan of research work of the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev, on May 30, 2018, the faculty of professional and additional education of the Institute under the direction of the Head of the faculty, Police Colonel S.Gizatov, organized and held a round table on the theme: “Investigation of crimes of crashes and accidents on railway transport and in cases of aviation accidents”.

The aim of this event was the need to discuss the problems, as well as best practices gained by the participants of the round table in the field of investigation of crimes of crashes and accidents on rail transport and in cases of aviation accidents, to develop specific proposals and recommendations for the further publication of the manual and its use in the practice of employees of the Internal Affairs Bodies in transport.

The event was attended and actively participated by the Deputy Head of the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev on scientific work, candidate of legal Sciences, Police Lieutenant Colonel Galia Zhanabekovna Suleimanova, branch safety inspector for the safety of movement of locomotive outfits of JSC “KTZ” Bolat Maratovich  Birmanov, Head of transit police investigation department at the station of Aktobe, Police Major Daniyar Narmagambetovich Taskenov, Head of social humanitarian subjects department of Military Institute of air defense Forces named after twice Hero of Soviet Union T. Y. Begeldinov, three ringer Kuanishbek Marsovich Berekebaev, listeners of advanced training  by category, Headmen of  transit police department.

The round table was held in the form of an open discussion and exchange of views.

In addition, a questionnaire was conducted with the participants of advanced training courses, the analysis of which showed that all the activities and lives of the country’s population depend on the reliable and safe operation of transport. The main causes of accidents and catastrophes in railway transport are the failure of the tracks of the rolling stock, signaling and blocking, dispatcher errors, carelessness and negligence of drivers, and in aviation accidents — technical failure, pilot error, weather conditions.

At the end of the round table the participants were awarded with letters of thanks on behalf of the Institute Management.
