Aktobe law institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev

INFORMATION

September 25-26, 2017 on the basis of Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev for the students of the refresher courses, namely the employees of the road police patrol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the regions, an international training seminar on the topic “International rules and standards with the participation of regional representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Central Asia:

  1. Bulanikli Halit, regional delegate of the ICRC on police and security forces.
  2. Ashabat Asat Albertovich, Head of the Department of Law and Information Policy of the ICRC in Central Asia.
  3. Mukhitdinova Zarifa Rakhimovna, responsible for the ICRC program in Central Asia.

The seminar covered the following topics:

– presentation of the ICRC and the work of the ICRC with law enforcement agencies;

– international rules and standards for the use of force and firearms;

– search and arrest;

– the principles of P.L.A.N. (proportionality, legality, reporting and necessity);

– vulnerable groups;

– management of stress.

At the end of the international training seminar, all participants were awarded certificates from the International Committee of the Red Cross in Central Asia, and representatives of the ICRC were awarded letters of appreciation on behalf of the head of the institute.
